Resumen

Este artículo es una investigación empírica, cuyo objetivo es determinar el estado del arte del concepto modelo de negocio, consiste de una revisión documental y trata de hacer una recapitulación de las transformaciones más importantes que ha experimentado la productividad de la fuerza laboral humana, al pasar de cazadores y recolectores a agricultores, en seguida a la organización racional de la producción industrial, a la teoría de la empresa y posteriormente a la innovación incremental, al benchmarking y a la innovación disruptiva, para llegar a la configuración de modelos de negocio orientados por la finalidad de ofrecer propuestas de valor que satisfagan las necesidades y deseos de los consumidores dispuestos a pagar por las experiencias del servicio.
